(yeah, pretty much everything I wear in from ThredUp or it was a gift)
So, I’m not sure when this Catholic-mom-bloggers-sharing-what-they-wore-to-Sunday-Mass thing started, a few years ago, at least. Rosie is the brains behind it all. I’ve never participated before, but I think I’m going to start hopping on the bandwagon every now and then. Not because I have any plans to turn this into a fashion + lifestyle blog. (I am not that cool.) But just because I think it’s fun to see what other mamas are wearing these days, and I figure you all might, too!
It can be tough to find feminine, modest clothing, and (if you’re anything like me) even tougher to know how to throw what you do find together into a decent outfit. Add a pregnancy (or 2 or 3 or…), postpartum pudge (no, I’m not pregnant anymore, thanks), and nursing access (because we don’t do cry rooms, either), and it’s sort of a wonder I manage to get dressed at all.
Kidding. I’m kidding. No, really.
Anyway, here’s what I wore this Sunday. Not pictured: this lovely veil from Veils by Lily, in Ivory. Curious why I choose to veil in a “normal” (i.e. English/Novus Ordo) parish? I talk all about that here.
Want to see what other Catholic mamas are wearing this Sunday? Hop on over to Rosie’s place, a blog for my mom. There’s a nifty link-up happening, and we’d all love if you joined in! Happy Sunday!
